Welcome to the OI²E² web site

CERAG has been studying the entrepreneurial intentions of students since 2004.

In the beginning, Jean-Pierre Boissin, creator of a network of Maisons de l'entrepreneuriat (Entrepreneurship Centers), was trying to enrich the knowledge base concerning the entrepreneurial environment and to reply to the needs of the members of the Centers. Slowly but surely the idea for a study emerged and ultimately became a stand alone project, thanks in large part to the work of Sandrine Emin. Taking inspiration from this idea, CERAG created l'Observatoire International des Intentions Entrepreneuriales des Etudiants (The International Observatory of the Entrepreneurial Intentions of Students), otherwise known as OI²E², which pursues a survey-based study of this subject. The survey has now been administered in several countries permitting the collection of thousands of homogeneous responses. Our desire to share the results of this study with as large a public as possible led to the creation of this site.
